This specific case highlights the conundrum I face when I receive a request for funds. To begin with, as a retired old guy with a fixed income, there isn't a lot to donate so I want to be sure it is actually going to help the cause for which it is solicited. If it's a well-known organization, I have to wonder how much is spent raising funds which includes paying the staff engaged in fund-raising. But if it's an individual, I have to wonder if it's for real or just another grifter with a heart-rending tale that plays on the emotions.
You raise some good points, Ty, and I'd be interested in hearing King address them... if he was so inclined. I tend to doubt that we ever will, though. :/
Morning Nkrempa! I tried to be objective, I wasn’t really familiar with King until I heard some things and wanted to look into their validity. Then I saw a pattern. I know that when he has been asked by others, he gets angry, defensive. As far as his heritage, who knows. I am very brown, and my youngest son’s father is White, but my son is lighter than King so it is possible his bio dad is Black. He’s a strange dude though, regardless. I know something is off with him, just not sure what 🤔
